The glass is heated to 1,300 degrees Celsius and melted to a syrupy consistency, which is then handled to make glass using the “mold-blowing” technique. It is a moving experience to watch the glass expand little by little as the glass is blown into the blowpipe! Then, under the guidance of the craftsman, the glass is rolled to widen the rim and form the entire shape of the glass, completing the one-of-a-kind glass. This is an experience where you can fully experience the high skill of the craftsmen and the charm of Ryukyu glass, Okinawa's traditional craft.
