Let's enjoy and learn about the wonderful nature of Appi Kogen! The beech forests spreading across Appi Kogen are full of different charms in each season. Our guide will introduce you to the past and present of Appi Kogen and the attractions of the beech forest, guiding you through the former pasture Naka-no-Makiba and the secondary beech forest selected as one of the 100 forests for forest bathing.

Enjoy the snow corridor views from the vehicle, and take a walk around the summit rest house area and on top of the snow corridor.

During the limited period from late May to early June, the melting snow in Kagaminuma Pond at the top of Mt. Hachimantai looks like the eye of a dragon, which is why it is called ``Hachimantai Dragon Eye.''
