We booked the 19:30 reservation on the same day mid afternoon. The entire experience was quite enjoyable. The staff was very polite and super helpful in direction us to the right location for the tour. The sights from the top floor were truly breathtaking. I would highly recommend purchasing the additional ticket to go to the highest level. Currently they have the Skytree outfitted in a video game theme, however it did not take away from the experience. They also have ice skating rink set up on the 4th floor which adds to the experience.
