We visited on the evening of 8/30/25 for the Midsummer Light Festival. It was absolutely magical! There were no crowds, serene music was playing throughout the entire grounds while walking, the air was cool, it was pure bliss to be there and see this stunning temple in the evening. We also took the free bus from Minoh-Kayano station, which was perfect and very convenient. Also very comfortable! We highly recommend this evening experience!
