The restaurant is famous for their freshly made, delicious soup dumplings. The craze is no different in California, where wait times during lunch and dinner can be hours long. Head to Din Tai Fung around opening time at 10:30 AM to secure a spot in line! If you’ve never had Din Tai Fung, don’t just stick to the soup dumplings. The chain is also known for cucumber salad, wontons, and noodles. Make sure to get the best item on their menu though: the chocolate and mochi xiao long bao.
サウスコーストプラザでのんびり過ごす - Hang around South Coast Plaza

If you’re interested in shopping for higher-end brands, this is the place to do it. Their variety of luxury stores is unlike any other around. However, South Coast Plaza offers a wide variety of products at many price tiers, as they sell everything from clothes to furniture to makeup. Simply browsing the entire plaza can take you a few hours at a minimum.

While the place is small, entry and parking are both free, making it a great location to stop by if you have time. OCMA will often have limited-time exhibits, meaning no two visits are the same. Beyond this, there are play areas and activities just for kids, as well as a cafe for a quick snack, making the museum a great place for any visitor.

Kin Izakaya, which isn’t actually an izakaya, is another restaurant opened by the same team behind Ini Ristorante (the two are actually in the same plaza), serving a western twist on classic Japanese food. They offer a fairly wide selection of food, some of which include sashimi, yakitori, ramen, and fried rice. Don’t be fooled by the variety– all the food is equally delicious! Prices for dishes vary but most meals are between $15 and $20. Reservations aren’t necessary, but recommended for crowded dinner nights.

Mastro’s is known for its premium beef and seafood, as well as the sophisticated atmosphere of their restaurant. Despite the relatively high prices, portions are large and great for sharing. After a long day, the restaurant is the perfect place to relax over great food and some drinks. If you’re lucky, you might be able to catch a live performance as well. If you’re tired after a long day, Mastro’s allows you to sit down and have an enjoyable evening.
